The Browns are in a prime position to add a quarterback, whether through free agency or the draft, to ensure stability while Deshaun Watson recovers. With cap space and a win-now roster, they could target a veteran like Russell Wilson or Kirk Cousin to manage the offense until Watson returns. Cleveland may also look to the draft for a developmental QB, but I still believe Watson will be back this season, even as many count him out. His rehab is progressing, and with the right stopgap option, the Browns can stay competitive until he’s ready to reclaim his spot midseason.
